The only film I’ve seen her in is First Class but that was 8 years ago. This film seems to be pretty open so that’s good.

 

Even though this is a younger Batman, they should still say that he & Catwoman met before the film's beginning, just so they can argue about where they first met like in Tom King's run.

 

Is this movie now a part of the LEGO Batman cinematic universe?

Think she’ll be a perfect Catwoman. Dream casting would have been Anya Taylor Joy but this is rad too.

She didn’t mention Nolan, but I doubt he was involved with early auditions in casting a described “small role” — but maybe I’m wrong.

 

what is with the fascination with ADA? she’s been in next to nothing lol. i like blade runner 2049 as much, if not more, as the next person but sheesh.

 

Also why not just have Ana de Armas play Poison Ivy

 

I don't know (or care) how DC is handling film continuity, but if they're keeping this 100% separate from the DCEU remnants & don't wanna double dip, I'd rather see Poison Ivy w/ Harley than w/ Batman.

Though if they're willing, I'll take Ivy everywhere, lol. Top 5 DC character of mine.

 

This could potentially be the best Batman movie if they do it right. The rumors it may be based on Long Halloween already make it really promising, & even sets up a sequel based on Dark Victory featuring the origin of Robin, which would make for a great movie. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Ivy in a movie again.

 

I'd be shocked if they didn't put Margot Robbie's Harley in this series

Although that would probably mean they'd have to bring Leto back too so idk

 

I trust Reeves, but it's hard to get a read on some of the casting...so far.

 

We don’t need everybody showing up everywhere. Build a story, build character arcs, and just leave the door open for possible crossover. Wonder Woman did this well IMO
