I’m glad Gunn came at the rumor pretty hard.

im not even sure they would need solo Batman movies for a bit in the DCU. I think Superman and him meeting investigating something similar like the animated series did, but keeping it mainly from Superman’s POV would be great.

 

I don't care if Reeves' Batman joins the larger DCU, but give me Clayface, cowards.

 

DC will be fine if Batman isn’t introduced later down the road and it will be quite easy to road map a universe that doesn’t utilize him until after the Justice League has formed.

Only problem will be finding another great actor shortly after Pattinson finishes his trilogy.

 

I would love an adaptation of JLA: Year One. Give the spotlight to The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and Black Canary. Let Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman co-exist in that world but let their stories be told in solo films for a while and give the others their time to shine.
