Oh yay! I heard Reading was the only one. Looks like they are starting fresh for hires though. Glad that it will be returning.
Just watched it and thought it was really cool to see a hero/serial killer story. Great directing, cast, script, and I enjoyed how the story unfolded (although the flood was a bit grand). Pattinson made a great for a great Batman and an ok Bruce Wayne.
Late to the party but loved pretty much everything about this. Spent a week or two trying to decide if I was ready to go back to a theater for this but I've heard nothing but shitty things about movie theater audiences out here lately. Glad I just put my phone on silent and turned off all the lights
No interest in avoiding Nicole Kidman lol. But in all seriousness I have the same anxiety @Jason Tate mentioned about theater shootings. End of 2019-ish I was in a less crowded showing and there were some weird technical difficulties that caused some loud popping and all of us panicked until the lights came up. Hadn’t been able to completely relax and melt into a movie in a theater since then. That plus Covid anxiety (despite having already had it) and it’ll sadly probably be a minute or two before I make it back
On a different note, was it just an odd casting coincidence that the guy who plays Tim Drake on titans was the kid in the gang in the beginning or was that supposed to be an easter egg or something?
It sounds like he was cast in The Batman before he was in Titans, and the timing is just because of Covid making everything weird.
There is a now famous ad that plays at AMC theaters where Nicole Kidman talks of the importance of movies and how the experience of seeing them in theaters is like next level.
The AMC pre-rolls haven't been the same since they got rid of the guy who just dumps popcorn all over himself
No problem. Current events and my life have kinda been garbage and I’ve been moping a ton lately but since it’s Star Wars day, I’m watching some Clone Wars, maybe a little Rebels and then going to watch The Force Awakens. I’m just focusing on something I love and letting the noise fade. This better mood enabled me to just simply answer rather than use any snark.
Casting for The Batman played out really well in the film. Gonna trust the process because they were 1/1 on films and left us with some memorable performances.
