Finally watched that Patrick Willems video on Robin, and he's unsurprisingly right. Agree that a cinematic Robin being about 16 or so years old makes sense. That's about the age that 19-yr-old Tom Holland initially played Spider-Man, who in retrospect probably feels more like a Robin than a Spidey. Young enough to need a guardian after becoming an orphan, but old enough that fighting in the streets works in live action. I think I'd go with either Tim Drake or Carrie Kelley over Dick Grayson, especially since Robin feels like the end of this Batman's arc (so, no need to set up Nightwing or whatever), but some amalgam would work fine too.
I think the choices they selected of animated films is a bit odd, but whatever. for me: The Batman, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Forever row 1 was tough. Row 4 was the easiest.
I think I'd go with The Dark Knight, Mask Of The Phantasm, Batman Beyond, and The Dark Knight Returns. Shame on them for not including Sub-Zero.
I almost went with Batman Beyond, too. It was close for me. The Dark Knight Returns just doesn’t do anything for me though.
The Batman Phantasm Return of the Joker Dark Knight Returns Row 1 was tough. Very torn between The Batman and LEGO Batman
