Finally saw this tonight. This was pretty much what I've always wanted a Batman movie to be. Pattinson was amazing and the closest ever live action portrayal of my favorite version of Batman, and the cinematography and action was gorgeous. The story kept me extremely engaged the entire time too, I actually don't really think this felt its length at all (I see a lot of people say the third act drags but I was actually surprised when it ended) I can't wait to see this again, this might be one of the few movies that I see in theaters twice. Also absolutely can't wait to see where they take this series, unlike everyone else I'll never say no to a great portrayal of Joker so if that's where they're going next I really want to see what he'll be like in this series. I trust Reeves wholeheartedly now
Going back for viewing number two this evening. In imax this time. Can’t wait for the batmobile to rumble my my undercarriage
rewatched begins last night, kinda remarkable how silly that movie is. this is definitely better than that. midway through TDK now, movie rips.
It’s #5 on what I’m seeing on Spotify. But I’ve seen before where other tracks have more plays but don’t show up in the top 5, so I am not confident in saying it’s without a doubt the 5 most played song.
it's just bc it's "surging" or whatever rn. this would place it 9th, and I'm sure there are others outside the top 10 higher than it. nirvana is also a weird one where there are like four deluxe versions for each album, so it's tough to keep actual play counts straight
Oh yea, the different versions thing definitely makes it tough to see what the top streamed songs are.
So this was really something, huh? I was waiting for that line about white privilege to pop up after reading all the hubbub about it, and when it happened I was sitting there like “that’s it, huh?” but THEN the Riddler’s army happened complete with one of the screennames being “HoldTheLine” and I was laughing to myself like, “oh THAT’S what you’re really mad about.” “I’m not a villain!” *Stomps feet petulantly* “I’m NOT!”
Is “hold the line” a Republican thing? I have kind of tuned out of a lot of that stuff cause I’m depressed enough as it is. I do think people being mad at Selina’s line is hilarious.
Yeah, it became one of those slogans the Proud Boys and far right folks began throwing around after Trump told them to “stand back and stand by.” So many signs and usernames and seeing that in the movie right as this nutjob is thanking his followers for subscribing was an extra easter egg of hilarity.
