That would be amazing. The part that bums me out the most with all this is these DCEU have the perfect cast/look and don't want to see it wasted.

I mean, besides having a cool Joker, Harley, Deadshot and Crock already established that they can use I don't see what they would need to tie into SS.

Yea... Being able to ignore that movie is exactly what a Batman movie needs to do. This is good news.

I'm not even gonna address Joker this time, 'cause implying that Croc was cool in Suicide Squad and should be carried over into Batman is even wilder.

    Like, he was BAD.

  5. Croc's makeup was cool, but ya they gave him the WORST one-liners and characterized him is some stereotypical "gangster"

Not really concerned about Batman not being in the connected universe. If anything, that gives Reeves and the writers more freedom to create something cool. I still really want Affleck in it, though.

I dunno, I never thought we'd see Croc in a live film ever so I am just happy he was there.

Do you mean why it matters in relation to people caring, or why it matters that it's a different "universe"

I guess in quality of film it should not, the DCEU films should be able to standalone, I guess I just want the DCEU to pick itself up rather than burst apart.

  10. Lots of universes and worlds in DC. I just want a good Batman movie.

It's times like these I miss the Nolan films.

No way, he botched TDKR. He did well but I like Nolan doing what he's doing now and don't want to see him come back to superhero anymore.

I don't want him to come back, but let's be fair--he set a mark with TDK for superhero films that hasn't really been reached since.

I'd argue Logan, DOFP and Avengers were just as great but in different ways. TDK will always be classic.

  18. Hasn't even come close. Which is fine, we've gotten different kinds of superhero movies instead.

Logan is very, very good. Probably the best I've seen since TDK. I haven't seen DOFP and I must say I didn't like the avengers. But that's a whole different topic haha.

I like the Nolan approach/style to the Batman universe. I don't want him making anymore superhero movies though. His best films are the stand-alone ones and we have too many superhero films as it is.

    I do not exist.

I agree with this. Didn't think much to the storyline of that film at all.

  22. TDKR is the worst of the trilogy and still better than almost every other superhero movie made since.

Movies better than TDKR just since it came out:
Winter Solder, Civil War, Age of Ultron, Both Guardians, Ant Man, Dr Strange, Spiderman Homecoming, Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, First Class, Days of Future Past, Deadpool and Logan.

  24. Pretty exhaustive list of movies not better than TDKR right there.

I mean, from a pacing, filming, writing stand point that isn't true....TDKR is a hole riddled mess with terrible action scenes, while most of the ones above balance it all lol. I'm glad you enjoy it though
