Saw something this morning about grounded not being the same as realistic. Reeve's Apes movies are grounded in the sense that it makes sense in that world, but it's still about talking apes taking over the world, so it's not exactly realistic. I think there's a way to do a grounded Mr. Freeze in a way that doesn't have to be "what if this happened in the real world."
Y'all talking about Mr. Freeze hypothetically being in a sequel when the more interesting recent interview tidbit was Robert Pattinson advocating for a young Robin. I don't believe they'd actually do it, but how great would it be if they did? Hate that the Dynamic Duo has mostly fallen to the wayside.
You can’t believe anything the guy says and I fucking love that. that said in the universe we are seemingly getting I don’t know if I want a Robin. Seems Reeves and Pattinson have a good idea for a trilogy arc for Bruce.
That clip in the interview is kind of hilarious. Love the Gordon/Batman interaction. Clips starts at 7:30 for those interested.
I love Robin but at the same time I don't need him in this trilogy either. If they find a way to make it work, cool. If they don't use him, that's cool too. Batman works well with and without a Robin, it really just depends on the take. If they do use Robin though it better be the Dick Grayson version. No skipping to Jason or Tim.
I'm so mixed on this because it would suck if the only live-action film version of Dick Grayson we have is Chris O'Donnell, but at the same time, I would love to see Tim and Jason both on the big screen. Former more than the latter; I'd prefer Jason just be Red Hood already.
I will say this, the Jason Todd origin would translate the best to a live action film and a live action adaptation of Death in the Family would slap so hard. I could see Pattinson absolutely killing it with that storyline. I just much prefer Dick to Jason in the Robin role and Tim just doesn't work at all without the other two coming before him imo.
I’ve been watching a lot of the animated movies recently and Damian is usually the Robin in the ones I’ve been seeing lately. So he is at the forefront of my mind when Robin is mentioned.
I've watched those, and I've really enjoyed them. I do like Damian's journey with the Titans in those films. I actually like Damian in general as a character, just because he tries so hard to fight against his own nature and his surliness is adorable, in a way.
Is it normal practice to release pieces of the score of a movie as a "single?" I can't remember ever seeing that before but I don't really listen to movie scores on their own
