Counterpoint: We deserve Freeze in the inevitable sequel to this.

To do Freeze right, you gotta really center the story around him. Don't wanna see him as just another villain in an ensemble first, & don't wanna let him outshine this Batman & supporting cast's first appearance.

 

U rite, U rite. It would be great to see the character fully realized on film.

 

Ya I posted a THR article back in Sept saying he was in talks for the role. Reeve's tweet makes it official, though.

 

Is there a running list of actors in talks, confirmed, or turned down roles for this?

 

Casting for this so far seems great!

I really want Clayface in either this movie or a potential sequel. Ever since playing Arkham City I’ve been wanting to see a darker portrayal of Clayface in a movie. Could be really cool.

Colin Farrell In Talks To Play The Penguin In ‘The Batman’ – Deadline

 

It’s Batman so I’m in a seat opening night no matter what, and I realize I didn’t love the Ledger casting at first, but some interesting casting lately.

 

He’s a great actor

 

Yeah I’m also down for some Colin Farrell. Penguin seems an odd choice but I’m interested.

 

Colin is great but physically not The Penguin, perfect Harvey Dent though

Zoe Kravitz - Selina/Catwoman
Paul Dano - The Riddler
Jeffrey Wright - Gordon
Colin Farrell - The Penguin
Andy Serkis - Alfred

Did I miss anyone? Also saw rumors of McConaughey as Dent/Two-Face, but they were from random outlets and not from any reliable sources.

I’ve had a bad impression of Colin Ferrell ever since the remake of Fright Night

McConuaghey as Dent would be great.

He’s incredible in “The Killing of a Sacred Deer”

 

He’s great in Fright Night and that remake has the best cast, even if the movie is okay

 

Prefer mc for dent. Don’t love Colin. Serkis is weird there. I’m there either way.

 

Serkis in the role by himself is weird but if he and Robert can pull off the chemistry it will be a great match.

 

Would be cool if they utilize the Alfred backstory where he’s a former British soldier.

 

Has anyone watched that show? It any good?

 

I’ve only heard good things. Think it just got renewed.
