I might try to go to this. Not a huge fand of 5SOS but this would be a fun show

The Band Camino's part on the new all time low album is pretty great. It's short but it's not their song so I wasn't expecting a lot. I honestly like that part more than a lot of the tryhard ep.

Was just Googling his name to figure out which band member he was and found this gem of a quote from an interview in 2018:

Graham: Yeah, I feel like in the lane that we kind of live in, with the band thing, I feel like it kind of helps to be younger, especially the age we’re at. We’re young, but we’re not teenagers anymore, but we’re not fully responsible adults. We’re able to relate to a pretty broad age group without feeling like we’re trying too hard to be too young or too old.

Ever since this guy posted a picture of the band and a caption that said “the bad boys of indie rock”, I knew he was a tool

Really glad it wasn’t Spencer or Jeffrey as they’re the key members of the band. Still super shitty but they dealt with it well and swiftly.

Been really into tryhard as well since I heard their feature on the new ATL song.

Really looking forward to an album from these guys, they have grown into their own sound instead of riding on the initial The 1975 sound they had going on at the start.

It’ll be nice to hear some new music from them. I was a little disappointed with tryhard and thought the best songs were released ahead of time. I’d have to imagine they’ve been working on a bunch of new music during quarantine.

also, why hasn’t “see through” been released to radio? I could see that doing well on pop and alternative stations.

Is there a clip or something?

  15. God this new song is not it. I love this band, but the last thing I wanted to hear after almost a year with no new music (compared to a single almost every 2 months in 2018-2019) is a half send pop ballad. Song isn't bad, just disappointing coming from them.

  16. Yeah very weird decision to make this the first bit of new music to come out, I can't see myself listening to it again either, and I still listen to tryhard.

I mean I don’t mind the song but I agree odd choice for their first new music in a while. Wondering if this is just a standalone single?

To echo what everyone has said, this song is super disappointing. Their song with all time low was way better

not to get ahead of ourselves, but I hope these guys really knock it our of the park with their 1st album/next release. To me, try hard was disappointing, then the allegations against the bassist, and now this. I’m starting to lose interest

I’m pretty sure it’s a stand-alone single. I mean it’s a simple little ballad. Good for what it is...

This applies to a lot of bands, but I wonder what effect the quarantine is having on bands that had/have a lot of hype around them. These guys were blowing up, we’re in the middle of an arena tour, and we’re scheduled to open another huge tour later on this year. With all that going on, I don’t think putting out new music would’ve been as high a priority.

do you guys think bands in this situation or similar will have the same hype they had when things start picking up again? Obviously there are other things more important than music right now but I’m wondering what the music industry looks like when this is said and done

Not a fan of the new colllab, but I’m listening to Tryhard and it still absolutely slaps nearly a year later. Daphne Blue will not get old. Same with Farsighted.

  25. Honestly this band didn't tour for the first couple years of their existence and they picked up most of the traction online
