I just finally listened to this band for the first time and I think "See Through" is seared into my brain forever

 

This album is such a groove

 

Saw them last night and both them and Valley were really really good. I was completely unfamiliar with Valley but they were a lot of fun and seemed so happy. And the Band Camino just seem like naturals. I’d believe they’ve been doing this for years and years.

 

Is that a new release or just the two eps finally combined? I’m confused.

 

New Release, but with the EP's on them

 

"Daphne Blue" landed at #5 at my Top 10 Tracks of the year list - just insanely catchy, especially that sick guitar solo

 

Like, I literally air guitar every time when I hear that solo

 

I still like the one-off singles(Like I do, Something to Hold On To) and the singles from the EP more than anything else on it, but I'm excited to see what these guys do in 2020. I actually heard Daphne Blue on Altnation a few times last weekend including at #1 on the Alt 18.

Love that version. Also somewhat disappointed with the EP I know they will continue to get better. Tour was great.

 

I hate their instagram post about their new tour. I get it. Just irrationally bums me out.

 

I happen to quite like Dan + Shay, so I'm sooo down for this (admittedly weird) pairing

Pop Country

 

Oh, god no lol I'm all set. They do have a bit of the country pop/rock feel to some of the new songs, though so I think it fits. Daphne Blue could definitely be a pop country hit if you ask me.

 

So absolutely stoked to see them blowing up! They 100% deserve it.

Did they say they would put the older stuff on vinyl? I would love if they combined the singles onto one vinyl (Fool of myself, Something to Hold onto, etc.) but I could do without the old eps.

Also, I'm hoping Something To Hold Onto makes it on to the full-length. That's the song that made these guys click for me but unfortunately they didn't play it on the last tour. Which is odd since they did play it acoustic for VIP/ their Paste session so maybe they are just giving it a break so that they can add it to the full-length whenever that happens?

Yeah good for these guys! Just got into them recently, Tryhard is a great album
