yeah it's hot garbage. i've been weirded out by the promo for this record overall. i'm not exactly a megafan so maybe i'm missing a lot but it just feels like there should be...more?
I don’t mind this song as much as I’m sorry mom or roses. interestingly, they went from not cursing at all to cursing when it’s not necessary. I don’t mind cursing, but it seems jarring in their songs for whatever reason
I don't even know that they're aiming for at this point. I remember thinking tryhard was a little uneven in quality, but this is just all over the place. Edit: After a few listens, I can appreciate the Night Game inspiration in this one. Although The Night Game does it 10 times better.
This was the best of the live new songs, but again, the recorded version is a muted, mediocre rendition of what they played.
Album is pretty good. Of the new songs, Just A Phase and Get It Your Way are definitely my favorites.
I just can’t imagine liking the album as a whole product at this point even if the remaining songs were the best I’ve ever heard lol so sad about it
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by this album. To me, this band has the potential to be massive in the Pop Rock realm if they really go the commercial route.
Ew the only unpleasant surprise I’ve experienced after liking 99% of the entire discography up to this point is disliking 4/6 songs released lol
This is a lot better than expected. "Look Up" and "Underneath my Skin" are the immediate highlights for me.
Hahaha. You would like the two I mentioned quite a lot. Honestly if you cut the singles out it seems like a way more refined project, and definitely way more of a natural progression.
Just noticed Graham Rowell is credited on a few of the songs... I'd have to assume they were written before he was removed from the band, right?
i'm probably supposed to give this record time to 'grow on me' or whatever...but i just don't feel compelled to give it that opportunity
Absolutely nothing about this album rollout has made sense. The non-singles are the strongest songs on here.
Give me more or just a phase and less of everything else lol - first song down that actually feels reminiscent of the band I fell in love with
4 songs in and Underneath My Skin is a tune but wow there's a lot of extremely cheddar moments already.
