I feel like every time they announce something lately you and I both voice our excitement in this thread and then are immediately let down. Maybe we should start a support group.

 

I hate using the word “sell out” but I think they are honestly pressing way too hard. They are far too talented and interesting if a band to settle for the shit they have recently.

 

Yeah their tryhard EP was really good. Just give me an album of the highs from that and I’ll be happy.

 

Definitely sound like a band trying to appease the label. They were better off doing it all by themselves...

 

Meh a The 1975 ripoff who started to find themselves then a shakeup leaving them to figure out how to garnet fans. Hoping this is more in line with Tryhard than anything else

 

Honestly these two songs seem like there were just too many cooks in the kitchen and as a result they came out bland.

 

band was at their peak right after the daphne blue / see through double single came out. i felt like they could become my favourite band at the time. unfortunately, tryhard ended up not being as good as i hoped and everything after that was just not my cup of tea.

Damn these new songs are such a step down from tryhard.

 

hard pass (once again). might have to finally say goodbye to what seemed like a very promising band two years ago :/

It also reminds of me Lany’s I still talk to Jesus. Both cheesy as hell.

There will probably be a couple cool songs on the album but they are 0/3 so far.

I mean it’s a catchy acoustic song, nothing more nothing less...

 

Song has grown on me. Decent performance. Still lots of negative vibes heading into the LP though.

 

I have zero hopes for this band at this point

 

The album is supposed to be a bunch of different styles so I’m hoping there’s a few songs that I like. 0/3 so far though

 

Just listened back to much of the discography and got to the last 3 songs
