This is a return to form. I love that they acknowledged the derail over the last 2 records caused by Label's, and are coming back fully and authentically themselves. This song perfectly exemplifies what made folks fall in love with them in the first place.
I believe it was a derail in as much as it felt like, to me, that they got wrapped up in trying to write "big" songs rather than great songs. The albums had some good songs but not enough.
