There are multiple movies nominated for Best Picture that are not as good as some dog movie.

 

I just can't believe that Show Dogs and Uncle Drew are getting theatrically released, if they showed up on Prime or Netflix one day I'd be like lol that's wild but , and there's no way for this not to sound pretentious, but I can't believe that like Last Flag Flying gets like zero theatrical release but those are gonna like open wide

 

I think Uncle Drew might surprise some people. The cast of basketball players may draw in sports fans. It looks stupid dumb but I will definitely Moviepass it.

 

yeah I'm not into basketball which I know plays a role, good for Lil Rey and Tiffany though

 

I hope he’s actually trying to make a good action movie. All of the humor from The Room resides in the fact that he thought he was making something good.

 

Neighbors was awful, and not pleasantly so. Idk how best f(r)iends was tho, I’ve heard some positive stuff

 

Best friends was very boring but he didn’t direct that

 

Why didn’t I know about this thread before?? Sublimely bad movies are one of my favorite things.

 

so the general consensus from the Velvet Buzzsaw thread is that it's terrible. It's a Netflix original with Jake Gyllenhaal, Toni Collette, Natalia Dyer, etc. Still bad.

Yeah I can’t believe I paid $54 for 2 tickets to see it... and then it came out on Netflix 2 days before my showing of it. And I ended up thinking the movie sucked. Halfway through I turned to my lady and was like “If we were watching this at home right now, I’d ask to put on something else.” Haha

 

Never had heard of him. But my brother discovered the trailer for Fateful Findings, and ended up buying the dvd. We watched it lastnight together and MY GOD. He really is god. Haha. That shit was so ridiculous.

 

He’s so incredible. In everyone one of his movies he plays a savior type. I love it.

I haven’t seen his newest feature but it looks incredible
