it was pretty powerful. good for them airing that. the reddit cesspools for the show can be so toxic.
Man, I really agree that it was powerful and necessary, but I can't ignore that having people like Sydney, Tammy, Lexi and others sitting there during this, knowing they do the same exact things to others...
I do think there's a massive difference between what people like redditors message to contestants and what contestants themselves say, but yeah cant help but think of the general Mean Girls bully attitude from so many contestants and the producers slurping up every second of it. Good for them, stick to the message of anti cyberbullying because its important. Also think about what you encourage and how often you do, idk
yeah as bad as tammy and sydney were, it’s not like they were telling mykenna or kelsey to go kill themselves or calling them any variety of awful names
oh no, of course the levels are completely different, but talking about bullying with bullies isn't the greatest look
Acknowledging the comments were absolutely horrible, it felt pretty tone deaf to have that segment after letting the girls assassinate one another's character for 45 minutes beforehand. Couldn't help but let my eyes roll to the back of my head watching most of that.
Peter really sucks so much. he disrespected Madi not by sleeping with someone, but by sleeping with someone and asking her to stay despite violating her established values, and disrespected whoever he slept with by apologizing to Madi for doing it. he has blown the entire show from week one and deserves to have to get on tinder and suffer with the rest of the world.
how so? she said, "im not telling you you cant sleep with anyone, just that i cant continue if you do." he does, then begs her to stay, and expresses what could definitely be interpreted as regret while keeping who is presumably the woman he slept with on as an option. i dont think it's super nuanced, i think Peter wanted to fuck and then when he did he felt bad. and if he gave it any thought he couldve seen that happening in advance of it and probably did and had the sex anyways imo. im not trying to sound combative but it just sounds like peter being a basic ass guy doing typical guy shit and am curious what others think the extra layer to it is.
Yeah I mostly agree with that. If Peter really thought she could be the one he wouldn't have done exactly what she said couldn't happen if she was going to continue. He basically called her bluff (or just didn't care) and now he still has her around. As much as I groaned through Colton's season at least once he thought it was Cassie or nobody, he just sent everyone else home. Then again I find the whole "hey you can sleep with all 3 people a week before you're supposed to get engaged to one of them" to be super weird.
That's fair enough, I think what I was getting it is on the night of the airplane hanger Madison kinda gave the ultimatium out of nowhere without explaining why she felt that way, and it was all done very quickly, Peter was obviously very confused and thrown off. Then of course the producers didn't give them time to talk about it, put him on his fantasy suite dates with the two other girls, and THEN she was able to explain her whole situation. That being said, yes if Madison says "no sex no me" and then he does the sex, he shouldn't be surprised. I just think he's a big doof and can't keep control of anything from spinning out of control
Let’s just skip this whole finale fiasco and jump to BIP already (I am curious to see what the big twist is going to be though, of course. I hope it’s something entirely different from all of the theories that have popped up.)
