idk. i really disagree. i feel like she handled it poorly and then tried to backpedal and act like it wasn't a thing and he stuck to his guns? my watch party (mostly women) were almost entirely siding with him

I feel like if the argument ended when he went outside and didn't feature the attempt to rescind it all I would have felt differently but I do not have the same read at all

 

i feel like she was testing him but didn't want to tell him and then got upset when he was like what is happening?

if she just told him ahead of time, hey, I know this is the bachelor and literally every contestant on the show always does this, but don't hook up with other people if I'm the obvious favorite, he wouldn't have?

100% agree, like it's fine if those are Susie's values or whatever but then 1) don't go on the Bachelor or 2) tell him ahead of time that it's a complete dealbreaker for you.

Monday and Tuesday are gonna be fucking wild aren't they. The fact that Clayton is already preemptively saying that it's not pretty and he's not proud means he probably royally fucks up.

I mean, he already admitted that Susie was his favorite, so that's a bad start, then the other two probably will figure that out, etc etc etc. Anyway, can't wait for the shit show.

 

Just watched last Tuesday’s episode and I think Susie had every single right to punch him in the face at the end of that. Clayton is fucking crazy lol

It definitely boils down to the two of them wanting different things from and on the show, which is 100% fine for both of them.... but they obviously should have talked about it (duh). The part where Clayton fucks up is when he turned on her and became super toxic about it and lost all conversation skills (ok did he ever have any?).

If you want to get reaaaaally into the weeds (I don't, but alas), Clayton apparently said that when he walked outside, the producers told him things, or swayed him, so that's why he came back super hard. I dunno.

Anyway, Clayton definitely wanted Susie to be his final 1, but still wanted to have sex with the other two also, it's pretty clear that was his main goal at this point.

 

Yeah I totally agree. I think when he turned on her and was outrageously rude to her about “not fighting for her” when she was upset he just had sex with 2 women after saying he loved them was just … not right to me. Especially when it seemed clear she was his #1. He reacted so, so poorly.

I’m sure the producers def stirred that pot. Honestly, they knew what they were doing putting Susie last haha … if she had the first date everything would have been different.

 

it’s the goal of 90% of the leads of both this and bachelorette for a decade now
