Chris Harrison basically said that they don't know when filming will start, so they have no way of knowing if everyone's schedule will work when they come back, so no reason not to submit more people
I watched mostly out of boredom and interest in what the format will be. Interesting that its kind of like Paradise in that each week it goes back and forth between the girls and guys having roses. Once it gets more in to the music aspect I'm not sure if it will be as interesting, but for now I'm giving it a shot.
