It was kinda sad that neither of his parents said they’d be there for him, even if they didn’t agree with his decision on Madison. His mom is definitely one to say “i told you so” to his face if it were to crash and burn. That’s fucked up. It wasn’t like they got engaged right then either. Although, it would’ve been a sight to see with Barb there.

I would’ve been so Petered off and embarrassed if I were him.

 

Also, Barb said Madison told them she’d say no to an engagement, yet Madison told Peter she would’ve said yes to an engagement while they were on there last date? Wtf.

Barb needs to be nice. That relationship is basically doomed now because Peter’s family can’t give the poor girl a break. Barb was just mean.

Personally impressed with how quickly Peter's mom became the most unlikable person involved in all of this... She came off SUPER mean-spirited. I get not agreeing with one of your kid's decisions but yikes. I actually have to root for Peter now because I can't exist in a world where that woman gets any sort of validation after the way she handled that.
