Forget for a second that for some reason they thought of all the songs to try to recreate let alone release as a first single, it'd be Frontier Psychiatrist...there just isn't a lot going on here. The clip from the telephone/trailer sounds so good, so I'm not completely losing hope for the album but I can't believe this is how they broke essentially a 16 year silence.

i flat out do not understand the appeal of this, the core of the song is unbearably obnoxious to me

 

One of my favorite ways I've read any piece of music described is that Since I Left You is like a party where you walk in and every single person is someone you want to talk to. This to me sounds like 2001 and losing a fight with my little brother to control the radio station in the car

 

This song would not be out of place on Plastic Beach

they dont do anything interesting with the samples, they just made an annoying rap beat with the worlds most grating hook

 

I like what they did with the samples, I think it's creative and does a good job of bringing The Avalanches into 2016
