this album is fucking fantastic. I feel like I gotta listen really late at night to get the full experience though. So smooth and groovy

Ohh forgot this was tonight. With Taylor, Kudi, and this, plus the fact that I'm off tomorrow, it's looking like a late night for me

I don't really care for Kurt Vile's music usually, but something about his track felt really magical on this

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

that interlude where Karen O read the David Berman lyrics broke me just now

not all the way through but this is beautiful so far...band has really delivered on the promise of the comeback and because none of it really sounds like SILY I feel like the quality of what they have put out has gone a bit under the radar

I didn’t check most of the singles since I wanted to wait for the full album, so the Rivers track is blowing me away currently. Honestly one of the best tracks he’s been involved with in quite a while and it’s not even Weezer haha

Wow I just got to Always Black and everything that comes in at about a minute in is just unreal. This is so good!

yeah, they killed this. between the long-ass rollout and the singles not really working out of the album context (basically par for the course with these guys lol) my expectations were pretty low, but this thing is a fucking odyssey. "We Go On" and "Take Care in Your Dreaming" are two of the best songs I've heard all year

actually wild how different this album is on car speakers as compared to headphones. like I'm glad I bought it to spin to and from work but man you're like hearing a fraction of the album without good headphones on

Can confirm that this album hits harder with all the lights off in the house

Wayne Coyne showing up at the end of "Gold Sky" is such a nice little moment
