Hey all, not sure how many of you will be interested in this, but TheMusic.com.au has just launched a pretty epic archive of Australian street press. I’m really stoked to still be working there and see this huge project come to life. here’s an article about it: The Music Launches Expansive Street Press Archive To Honour Australian Music History | theMusic.com.au | Australian music news, gig guide, music reviews
damn I'm loving this so far, The Howl is a great song. Liam is turning into nearly as good a songwriter as his dad these days
only just got a chance to read this and it's a great thoughtful interview as always from you. Neil being all proud dad of his kids makes me smile every time and yeah I love this album a lot. feels like Dreamers was them re-establishing a base sound and this album is stretching out a bit and trying on some new sounds. the closer might be the weirdest song they've made since Together Alone, I'm all about it
it goes against all my ethics to link yahoo lol but this is a pretty great interview. some genuinely nice insights in there Crowded House’s Neil Finn on How a Stint With Fleetwood Mac Led to Revitalizing His Own Band: ‘I Realized That We Had a Flag That You Can Follow’
It’s actually a Variety interview, they sync all sorts of stuff on Yahoo, including from Music Feeds haha
did a very quick writeup for Crowded House, first time I've felt remotely inspired to review in about six months lol. probably a bit dusty at it but hey Review: Crowded House - Gravity Stairs | Sputnikmusic
Came in here to say the album holds up well on first listen. And new Slowly Slowly record is predictably great, although there's a thread for that one.
