I haven't actually, I kind of want to go into the new album totally blind but I'm so happy they're back Neil Finn doesn't write bad songs
New Crowded House album feels nostalgic in the best kind of way - the keyboards are just like the melodies my dad would play when I was a kid. I wasn’t expecting those memories tonight!
New Sly Withers album is great. Highly recommend for people who used to like TSSB before W*l W*gner turned out to be a prick
Has anyone mentioned Caligula's Horse? Probably my most listened to band of the last 12 months. Progressive rock/metal.
Make sure you all listen to the new Amyl and the Sniffers album next week! I’m reviewing it for Blunt Magazine so stay tuned
Anyone check out the new angus and julia stone album? I feel like it came out to almost zero attention.
Just got around to the Ruby Fields album and its really good, considering I've found her hit-and-miss in the past.
I love it! Reviewed it for Blunt Magazine Review: Ruby Fields – Been Doin' It For A Bit - Blunt Magazine
oh awesome, I'll check out your review! I've only listened through once so far, but she's improved dramatically in her songwriting.
Hope everyone's smashing the new Ball Park Music as much as I am. Saw them last week in the valley and it was the most fun I've had in a long time.
I didn't really vibe with the first half of the album, thought the back half was quite strong though. BPM have always been a singles band for me - their best songs are brilliant, but I don't love any of their albums. Maybe Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs, but that's it.
Its their strongest since museum for me. I get the consistency problem, they love indulging their weird a bit too much, but even the slightly off stuff on this one I absolutely love
