Ruby Fields' new single is so good:

 

My band from Brisbane announced our debut album and released the first single on Monday.
We're also touring with the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus in November, if anyone remembers them haha

Have been told the new song sounds like Deftones, Circa Survive, Bring Me The Horizon and Angels and Airwaves, so who knows

 

The new single 'Palm' from Sydney based alt/rock-janglepop band Body Type. EP is out October 19th.

 

Saw Ne Obliviscaris Wednesday night and Parkway Drive last night.

 

New Ryan Downey tune.

 

Just saw Brisbane band WAAX. They smashed it! Super magnetic, ferocious punk rock band. RIYL: Camp Cope, Hop Along, early Placebo

hey! stumbled in here because I was seeing if anyone loved the Ruby Fields single from last year as much as I did. so much good stuff coming out of Australia.

looking forward to seeing Skegss in May and beyond excited for a new Ceres album.

been enjoying this Bec Stevens ep from a couple weeks ago.

 

So many favourites have already been mentioned, but a few acts I love to bits & haven’t seen here are Angie McMahon, Mallrat, and Press Club

 

The new Dear Seattle record is apparently very good.

Can't remember if I'd mentioned this before in this thread, but man, Slowly Slowly's release from last year absolutely rips.

 

Waax just announced a headlining US + Canada tour and I am b u z z i n g this morning.

 

Hell yes!!! They’re one of the most exhilarating bands to see live

I've been meaning to get into Waax for a while. I saw them support FOB last year and weren't too bad.

Keen for new Alex Lahey this week.

From what I've listened to so far this year, can confirm Dear Seattle and Stella Donnelly records have both been molto bene. Need to give Ceres/Julia Jacklin a few more spins.

ah, didn't know the Ruby Fields EP came out!

 

A few years ago, I was going to make a free digital compilation featuring cool unsigned AUS/NZ bands, but it never came to fruition, unfortunately. It's still totally something I want to do someday though!

UPDATE: Fuck it. I'm gonna do it!
