honestly I think so long astoria is the worst one. too safe and corny at points.

I feel like everyone disliked Welcome the Night because it wasn’t what they expected compared to that traditional Ataris sound. I feel like those who were more open minded to the songwriting shift ended up more pleased with it. I love that album.

Welcome The Night is good, So Long Astoria is great, and I could never get into their other stuff other than All Souls' Day, but I do need to give it another shot

I can always be better, so I'll always try. Supporter

Blues Skies, Broken Hearts... is the only other record of theirs that even comes close to So Long, Astoria. Come on!

    EDIT:
Also, I'm jamming So Long, Astoria right now and can confirm it rocks.

I love when this thread periodically lights up with Welcome the Night love. I know it may not be Kris' best, but I happen to enjoy it immensely.

End is Forever absolutely blew my 14 year old mind. I think you can make an argument for it being best.

Take You Need A Hug and Teenage Riot off and you got a solid case for this argument. Those two lower the album compared to Blue Skies.

They changed the artwork for the Welcome the Night B-Sides to the original album artwork. I totally forgot this even existed.

  19. I think I was el_troyo_11 on the The AMB and Fourchordwonder on the Yellowcard board (and then AbsolutePunk as well). I don't think I posted much on the AMB though.

Kris’s rent must be almost due so if you want more lyric sheets…

He’s never going to stop milking those albums.

  23. Why should he?

    Things have changed.

I'd go for a lyric sheet in a non-auction option. SLA meant a ton to me in 2003.
