I do wish the Ataris success. However, based on the evidence, if we are talking chart/wider success, chances are slim. If Good Charlotte and Yellowcard can't debut on the Billboard 200 with their comeback albums then the Ataris are unlikely to. In terms of a smaller level of success limited to the 'scene' or long term fans alone, a further year of waiting may also be detrimental.
I’d consider Yellowcard’s radio chart results with two singles … obviously a success. Just me. But I do know they are extremely happy with their album results and the current tour successes. They’re playing some of the biggest shows of their career. The Ataris getting to 1/2 that would be a massive massive win for them.
"Even though they're not here tonight, let's give it up for Cheap Trick. Speaking of Cheap Trick, this one's the first song off our new album!" I never got the meaning behind this joke/line from Live at the Metro. Can someone explain it to me?
