How long do we think this pushes the record back?

And the only downside is that with the way vinyl turnaround works, it likely will be a release in March of next year. We’re going to continue releasing new music all year, this year. We’ve already had one single come out. We’re going to do a couple more. Maybe there will be an EP, but probably a couple more singles, and seven inches, and that will all lead up to the record.

It also means either the vinyl is delayed or this song won't be on the first pressing

Absolutely. I've been scouring the internet for YEARS to try and find a good bootleg/live session from that era. I wish I were able to see them live during the 2006-2007 touring cycles, but I was born in 1995 and I didn't even know about The Ataris until 2012.

I've probably watched every YouTube camcorder/flip phone recording of The Ataris playing live during the WTN era. There were at least two bootlegs released by the Brazilian website LBVidz, but only one survives (in pretty poor quality) and So Long Astoria was the only surviving vid from the Sao Paulo set. I do have the Napster Live Session and genuinely, the live versions of Fast Times at Dropout High and Cardiff-by-the-Sea are in my top 5 songs ever... and this is coming from a guy who has 5,000 songs saved on Spotify.

I'd pay good money to hear good quality recordings of the live versions of Summer Wind, I.O.U., In This Diary, Boys of Summer, Act V, Scene IV, and Your Boyfriend Sucks (especially the version they played in the last leg of the 2007 US Tour, when the bassist Sean Hansen started playing really intricate bass ornamentations over their live songs.)

Love Asobi Seksu so much. There used to be a video of Asobi Seksu coming up on stage with The Ataris to play the outro to San Dimas High School Football Rules.

Damn... are you me?! I've done the same thing. There are some solid videos of those songs from that era, here's my playlist of some. It has most of the Sao Palo set you mention. Some videos are better than others, but it's what I could scrounge together from that era considering. The Delaware (uploaded by fightsvsfences) videos are also some of the better ones. My grail is the high-quality video set from the old Brooklyn Knitting Factory that used to be on their website in 2006-2007 that seems to have disappeared forever. Those videos were when they were touring as a 7-piece. There used to be a Groezrock side-stage video of them playing IOU One Galaxy that has since disappeared (or at least I can't find it) and then also a pretty good quality video of them playing Summer Wind in the UK in 07 from the balcony view which I also can't find anymore. Anyway... enjoy, hopefully there's something you haven't seen.
