Crazy we’re finally seeing this through after 17 years. George W. Bush was president when this photo was taken.
Let’s hope the studio with all masters doesn’t somehow burn down between now and when we’re supposed to get this bad boy.
Well, I mean.... I don't want to bring anything down, but that just means they submitted the song and it fits all the criteria
Their new European booking agency have posted that the guys will be touring Europe next year. Fantastic news. Them headlining a 2k venue in Scotland back in 2003/4 is one of my core peak scene popularity memories.
Looks like the Boston show is cancelled tonight. Assuming it’s poor ticket sales given the venue size… Really bummed. I was REALLY looking forward to seeing them do a proper headlining set again (especially since I missed 75% of their set at Riot Fest because I had tickets for this LOL). EDIT: Looks like it was just somebody in their camp who got sick. Bummer. Hope whoever it is gets well!
Kris sounded so great in St. Louis tonight. Still singing with a lot of passion. I also feel like he’s kind of underrated as a guitar player. Super expressive playing and I loved the spacey solos. Not sure if this is old news, but he said the new album is 15 songs and 60 minutes long. I didn’t hear if he said written or recorded, but he said they narrowed it down from 40 songs. He only said “next year” for when it’s coming out.
I believe he finished recording everything for the new record over the last couple of months. I knew he had a ton of material written for it, but 15 songs and 60 minutes is great news. One of my most anticipated for next year
Canceling the upcoming shows in Syracuse and Buffalo because Kris injured his back. Very oddly shot video explaining it here:
Weird that Kris - or Kristopher now, I guess - was unable to announce this himself. He's always been the mouthpiece of the band and seemingly very accessible. Letting Mike announce this certainly is a choice too. I just can't forget his scummy past.
