Is October in This Railroad Earth even still up anywhere? Not seeing it on Spotify or their Bandcamp, am I misremembering or did all the songs get put on Silver Turns to Rust anyway?

Yeah, Ataris aren’t even one of the 50 songs on there for me. I scrolled through twice thinking I was going crazy lol

That shit is probably a personalized playlist. Not 100% sure how they work but i think its like there’s a pool of songs drawn from based on your play history

From spotify: “Personalized editorial playlists are curated by our editors and personalized to every listener by our algorithms”

    its made by spotify

Ya, its made by spotify. They label them “Personalized” playlists in the artist dashboard. So when u look at what playlists your song is on, some playlists (like Rap Cavier) are a single playlist across all users, but some of the still Spotify made playlists like Kick Flip are generated for that user, like how daily mixes and Discover stuff are.

you can tell which is which in the app i think. the ones that don’t vary just say “Spotify” up top, personalized ones have their logo and say “Made For _____”

Does Kris do anything outside of the Ataris?

  22. Not really. He's performed with Goldfinger here and there a handful of times, but that's about it outside of The Ataris, I believe.

Really? I wonder how he keeps going as I can't imagine the tours are that lucrative? I just wish he would put a new record out already. The songs he did release were awesome and I really liked the re-recording of Fast Times at Drop-Out High.

  25. From the little bit I've talked to him about it, I think part of the reason there hasn't been a new album is because he can't afford it. I mentioned doing a crowd funded album but he wasn't too keen on that idea. But it's like... dude, you have so many fans who want to hear new stuff, let us help each other out! haha. But I get it.
