I'm going to ask them how this tour is financially feasible. Four, like, semi legit bands (of course all of them are way way way way way way past relevancy). But they all still had giant radio singles. How is them playing 7 tiny ass towns in Texas financially worth while? Is it small, new venues and bars paying extra to advertise their spots?
The tour wasn't just Texas, Texas happens to be the last stops. Before Texas, they had four dates in Florida. YMMV if that's better or worse.
Sorry, I meant Alien Ant Farm. Not The Ataris. I don’t expect anything from them until the nostalgia act dries up (if ever).
They posted Kris’ arm on Instagram too. It’s all very sloppy looking haha. But it’s definitely Kris, Kid, Mike, and John. So definitely a SLA anniversary tour announcement incoming.
It's going to be a small run of dates, but what if it's announcing that lineup back together and making an album?
ATTN: The Ataris, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, etc. How many times can you celebrate the same albums?
I'm sure we're doomed to find out! Cool to tour SLA, I guess. Disappointed by no new music. Not entirely excited about a one-time reunion tour either. Edit: Ah, it's not even a tour. Just one show. No further comment.
John might have, but I'm pretty sure bass was recorded by Kris. But no, the SLA lineup means nothing to me personally, other than it's nice to see familiar faces for a change, since their live band is always just a bunch of random yahoos.
The last 3 or 4 times I’ve seen them it was pretty much already a SLA show. Only songs they played from other albums were San Dimas, Your Boyfriend Sucks, All Souls Day, and 12/15/10.
