    Idk if anyone has ever felt like a lost soul and continually working toward a big idea but hindered by your own insecurity or how important for that outcome to be perfect.

    Kris is interesting and clearly has a lot preventing him from achieving what we’d like to see out of him but only because he’s clearly so passionate of a musician.

    It’s almost been better to see a person releasing all of these items, showing us his songs and a peak inside his mind. There’s some great songs in these demos and you see a person torn between their roots and indulging on the nostalgia but a deeper desire to to be more experimental and ambient, mature etc.

    To me The Graveyard of the Atlantic is all of these demos and scrapped songs and everything he shares with his fans - perhaps one day we will get it in his vision and to check off a box but omg don’t deny how good a lot of this is because you wish he’d make due on a dream.

    i think kris has just reached the nostalgia point of his career and is tryign to make as much as he can off his old stuff from his longtime fans.

    no shame in it, you gotta do what you gotta do. a new album would be great, but it's a big investment that could make the nostalgia act thing harder to persue.

    Played a show with them in 2010. They got their guarantee and then refused to play until he got another $400. He made a big stink about it, and was an hour late getting on stage. Then when they got up on stage they played nothing but a shit load of covers and some originals. I haven’t really listened to them since.
