little not weird considering we got the demo then finished version of the lead single All Souls Day for an album that never came out and have been told for what, decades a new album was on its way only to be handed 100 dollar hand written lyric notebook paper instead.
Do you really think this is the same thing? I’ve heard the song coming btw. Like, I know people that have the 7”?
You consistently post negative comments on anything Ataris related. Like, we get it, bud. Now, move on and let the rest of us be excited.
Totally get what you're saying. And yeah, the 7" is coming, but from my perspective, it feels like another case of the usual pattern—new album promised, song announced, and then it just turns into a single (in this case, a 7"). The promise of a new album feels like it’ll lead to nothing again. If it happens, it happens. What I meant by "I'll believe it when I see it" is specifically about the album promise. I can't help but feel like everything he does is a cash grab. Maybe that's wrong, I don't know. It sucks, but I struggle to associate The Ataris with anything but The Bare Minimum. And that’s coming from someone who really liked their old stuff. There's been so much disappointment, ghosting, and general weirdness over the years. Enough to shift a listener's opinion of the whole picture as it pertains to them. That said, it's all about conversation. I'm not claiming to know his intentions for sure. If you see things differently, I’d love to hear your arguments. It’d be good to understand a more optimistic perspective on him and the band and to never be stubbornly staunch in opinions that are speculative, subject and personal.
