Waiting to hear back from the girlfriend to see if she can do the Orlando date or not, then ordering tickets. EDIT - tickets bought!
Citizen posted that the Detroit show will act as the release show. Really hope there's some sort of exclusive cover or variant for it.
Hmm. I'm never the first one to find shit like this, so it was probably already posted somewhere, but
I can't believe this is at Analog. It's a glorified bar, holds probably 100, 150 max. This may be a miscalculation, they probably should've picked the Hawthorne.
The upstairs of the Analog actually holds 300. I wouldn't really call it a glorified bar even though the downstairs is a bar haha I think this will easily sell out though. Also tickets are a little more expensive than what I'd expect so playing a smaller venue makes sense.
Yeah the smaller shows are usually downstairs which definitely has a bar feel, but still a good venue for intimate shows. This will definely be upstairs though which is a legit smaller venue. Glad Portland has a great smaller venue after Satyricon, Backspace, Branx and the Alhambra all closed throughout the years. This venue is 1000 times better for shows than the Hawthorne.
I can see how that would be annoying, but thats a minor issue in my opinion. They have 21+ shows as well where that doesn't apply. I also love how the venue has reentry. Nice to be able to go walk around and smoke a joint between bands if I'm going to a 5 band show that lasts forever haha
