Last month when I saw Citizen Mat said that they will probably be doing the record release show in Detroit this time around.

 

10/22 - Royale, Boston, MA

 

This will be a great time even though they toured together last year

Guess I need to listen to citizen? I've never heard of them. Certainly not over sorority noise, who I guess I thought were way bigger.

 

Is Citizen really headlining? Is it at least a co-headline? SoNo headliners don't come to the PNW so I'm hoping for a real set.

I back this. Both citizen and Sorority noise haven't been here in a bit.

 

I would argue they're about equal now. Sorority Noise is getting massive by the day with this new record and Citizen has been stagnating a bit, I think.

 

Citizen is growing if anything

 

Citizen is hands down the bigger band.

 

Not my favorite way to compare bands but Citizen has 178K likes on Facebook versus Sorority Noise's 42K

I have a good feeling Citizen's going to grow in a big way after this album. I absolutely love "Jet" and they played "Fever Days" at the AFI show and it was awesome.

 

I would argue that Sorority Noise is a "buzzier" band, whereas Citizen just straight-up have a bigger fanbase.

Sidenote: Great Grandpa is fucking awesome, holy shit.
