I like how I Steal What I Want and Local Millionaires sound downright poppy after how heavy the preceding tracks are.

    Trusted

Yeah this might be their best.

  6. This rips. Not that Ultrapop and Perfect Saviors weren't great but this feels more in line with the band I fell in love with back in the day somehow. It also perfectly marries the chaotic/hardcore side of their earlier years with the more melodic approach and pop sensibilities of their recent work.

    Ive been here before

this follows in the footsteps of albums by deafheaven and whitechapel this year where a band comes back around from a stylistic deviation for an album rawer than ever

Yeah this is exactly what I want out of music at this point in my life. I was a fan of PS after enough listens, but I'm very happy to have a "return to form" here.

When they put out Well Made Play, I was vibrating over their hardcore sound coming back and am not disappointed by a single second of this thing. Record is absolutely massive. Purity Drag might me my favorite track.

I'll admit it took me until Sharp Teeth to get excited.

Lean 32 min is probably working best in this album’s favor - not a wasted minute

Not at all! ULTRAPOP feels like an hour even if it’s only 6min longer than this. It’s a perfect mix between their stuff

I haven't heard of this band, it feels like it came out of 2009 in the best way. The album cover is also attention grabbing, I like it.
