    Yeah, definitely my AOTY now. Crazy that it's been a decade since I first found them with Untitled and that ended up being my AOTY for 2015.

    Never really listened to much from these guys but this album is grabbing me and I don’t know why. Lyrics really hit well for me. Is this how all their albums sound?

    Older albums are more like this, but it’s not a 1 for 1. I’d listen to Only Love next, then go forward from there. This is the most digestible version of their heavier stuff imo

    I’m with you. Feels like the most focused distillation of everything that works for the band, poppiness and heaviness.

    Definitely prefer when the band is going all out on most of the record. Heathen is cool though, especially with the sax. That and Sharp Teeth are definitely the odd man out on this record. Although, I guess the latter was written during the Ultrapop sessions.
