I love that media picked up The Armed story as “The Armed tease collaboration with Iggy Pop” and it’s just that he cameos in the video. Very them.

 

Based on that interview, I’m excited for The Armed to take over the world

 

i like ozzi but it’s kinda poor journalism to me. “we will answer anything/the armed reveal all” but dude doesn’t ask about the rumors it’s just kurt ballou? or that the people are paid actors?? idk seems like a missed opportunity

 

And the whole “I’m part of the cult” thing seems to play into the whole thing, but if true it’s be one of the most insane business structures I’ve seen from a band lol

 

As someone who really loved ULTRAPOP but hasn’t ventured more into their catalogue or really anything else about this band, reading this thread and the interview has me equally confused and intrigued.
