Pretty disrespectful of the band, Frank is easily contactable and always happy to talk... I’m sure they could have reached out easily.
lol, so because he wanted to be notified before a band went and took his own vocals from a demo he never released, and put them on their song, that makes him a schmuck?
Because using a more established artist's name as a gimmick to get people to learn about your band is truly the epitome of punk. Got it.
Let's be real: having The Armed reference him is the best thing to he associated with Frank Turner's music since Million Dead got sick of being around him and ditched him quick smart.
Regardless of how you feel about Frank's music, that's completely irrelevant. Stealing someone else's music is a morally shitty thing to do. Relying on gimmicks like this to get your name out there is lame. This band going around and trying to prove that they are REAL PUNKS is basically the antithesis of punk.
I'm obviously trolling. I don't care either way other than the fact that the song rips and The Armed are fucking sick. And even legitimately trying to argue about anything being punk or not like that even means anything at all is some deadass oldhead bullshit and I ain't about that.
Of course they didn't ask for permission. This is also the same band that initially wanted the cover of their self titled record to be this and wanted to actually title it M*tallica.
Dude is a total arseclown and hasn't done anything good since the first Million Dead album and his first band, Kneejerk. This however is fucking sick.
