Was that cover part of the original art for the album? Either way, I can see why they updated the cover.
Did a discog run last night. Man this band is too good. Some of the sounds they experiment with on Peregrine are real genre expanding imo.
One of my favorite shows was watching them play both LLO albums. They built up View From a Burning City to close out the first album, then took a brief intermission, and then came back and exploded right back into it to start the second album.
Listening to Peregrine for the first time in a little while, these guys always have the best drum parts
It’s really impressive considering how many different drummers they’ve had. Maybe it’s common knowledge that I’m unaware of but I wouldn’t be surprised if Chris writes most of the drum parts.
The Appleseed Cast: Album By Album With Chris Crisci — Kerrang! I guess Chris does write a lot of the drum parts, makes sense. Bummer he’s not huge on Sagarmatha, I love that record.
