  2. I get hella early stuff vibes (Uprooted/In the Attic) from the singles so far - it's kinda like they've combined that with the compositional approach of Familiars - and I'm so here for that. Sure to be one of the albums of the year, probably gonna make me cry a lot.

I wish I could say something but silence is fine.

Sunnier, folkier Antlers songs? Count me in.

Their records always caught my interest but I've listened to them in full more than once. Hope this one changes the trend.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

"Just One Sec" better be a fuckin hip-hop track or I swear

Familiars is the best Antlers record and it is criminally underrated.

  11. Hard disagree but also Hospice is one of the most draining albums I've ever heard so I GET not being into it as much. Familiars is amazing though. All of them are.

Familiars borders on post rock at times and I think that’s why I love it so much

Familiars is my favorite record from them. The vibe on that album is so unique and beautiful. The bass lines are magical. It's just a really good feeling.

Familiars is so good, but Hospice has always meant a lot to me. I can't put one over the other.

    Early thoughts:

    1. It’s good to hear stuff from these guys that isn’t so emotionally taxing.

    2. Glad to hear how well they hold up without Darby. That guy pretty much carried Familiars (all the keys, trumpet, bass, etc)
