I know very very little about classical but Four Seasons is stunning and my favorite. I had others in my initial ~500. Would've been hilarious if we did a top 500 each so I could've been the one and only vote for the William Tell Overture.

 

I have a bunch of choral pieces I absolutely love from back in my music major days. Kind of consider them in a different category than the stuff on this list (mostly because there's often not a definitive recording of that stuff) but fun to think about them anyway.

 

These were all cuts from mine except I picked a different Colin Hay song. Also cut Butch Walker's Still Drunk.

 

That Colin Hay song regularly tramples my heart, had to be here. "Still Drunk" is great.

 

That's my #2, its so good. Waiting for My Real Life to Begin is my #1.
