I might end up doing two lists. One official ballot where I limit it to a few songs per artist so I can spread my votes and then the real list lol.
If I actually end up tabulating all of this into a master list, I'll just take the top 50. Don't worry!
Just so we're not messing it up, are we referring to Tevin Campbell as "Powerline" when we all list "I2I", or his real name?
I have 218 songs listed and I am not even satisfied with that list in terms of missing things EDIT: Here's where I'm at so far, out of order

I'll do this. I'll hate the list immediately after, but I'll do it. Is there a date we have to be done by?
I don’t think so. Hoping the conversation in here will stay active for a few weeks at least, and I’d expect lists to trickle in over that time period.
it’s hard enough to do this with songs from my library, let alone songs from the wild. i think i’m gonna limit to one per album
I might have to limit it to albums I own or are on my "to buy" list. I wouldn't even know how to start with songs I love but haven't heard the record.
right haha. a lot of one-hit wonder type bands with songs that are ubiquitous enough where I don't need them in the library, like come on eileen or whatever
Dude, Too Rye Ay is actually an awesome record. I mean, I get the general point, but swing and miss on the particular example. Haha
I have a suspicion that like 44/50 on my list will appear on zero other lists, which is discouraging. But then there’s a chance that maybe me and Craig can overlap on a Chad Perrone song and get it to land, which is motivating.
I always think about music from an album perspective. I could probably put together a favorite songs from my favorite albums list without too much struggle, but trying to come up with and incorporate all the single songs I love from albums/artists that aren't my personal favorites is completely overwhelming. Will probably start working on this today
Did this quickly, and already kinda hate it ha. For any omissions, I basically weighed up if I have any specific memories associated with the song, and went with the ones that I have more "history" with. Getting the 50 was a nightmare, so didn't spend too long on the ordering after then. Hyperballad is my number 1 - anything else I'd be happy to shuffle about, more or less.
