Just gonna make a list that's Sliver Springs 50 times in a row to ensure it makes the final cut

It's "Kill." I say this with a lot of love for "Slow Burn."

 

Not going to make it very far making this list if I can't trim beyond five songs each for Springsteen, Isbell, Jimmy Eat World, and Butch Walker...

 

I'm doing one per artist because otherwise I will KILL MYSELF but my preliminary list is 16 pages in a word document. fuck craig

 

I thought about one song per artist, but three of the songs from Born to Run are probably in or near my all-time top 10, so that was a nonstarter.

 

Yeah, most of my top 20 are gonna be Bad Religion & Jimmy Eat World. One song per artist would be damn tough.

 

Gonna limit myself to 3 per band. JEW is gonna be impossible.

I think I might have to do something like this or one per album because otherwise like 90% of my list would be two bands.

 

Alright folks, I put in 685 songs, did over 5000 battles in bias sorter, and here's what we've got! I do want to say that this heavily favors my listening habits from like 2007 - 2017. Since then, my palette has expanded exponentially and I think in doing so, I don't quite form the deep bonds I did with as much music as when I was younger. Also, the clusters are funny to me. My list would look A LOT different if I limited myself to 1 or even 3 songs by an artist. I'll be honest, I expected more Descendents and Bad Religion. And... non-male artists
