I may have asked before but is their a reason they dont play overseas much these days? Its been 10 years since the UK (I think) I heard various rumours they werent allowed back in the country but never anything concrete. In Florida in September, but looks like the dates around that time are literally opposite end of the country which is anoying!
Nothing after Move Along ever clicked with me, but both that and the self-titled are packed with great pop rock tunes.
They haven’t released an album in 12 years and I don’t believe they have done a proper full-headlining tour in 10 years or so. They’ve done some one-off shows and some festivals throughout that time but I think they’ve just not been very active since 2011-2013
mind blown today, i had no idea they had a music video for this song, i always thought they just did videos for swing and last song
Here is Move Along from Last Night. You can also find Swing Swing, One More Sad Song, My Paper Heart, Dirty Little Secret, and Gives You Hell on my channel.
Nope, they just posted a screenshot of a comment asking them to come to the UK and said something like "unfortunately due to legalities we're not able to play in the UK, hopefully one day!"
Yeah they made a story post saying they were finally cleared for re-entry. I'm really curious to know what all that was about. Haha
It’s funny, they’ve kind of lingered around for over a decade without really putting anything out, but if they “broke up” in 2013 or something they’d be pulling crazy numbers on a reunion tour
It’s very funny to me that AAR’s first song in, what, a decade is a cover but then I read Tyson’s interview where he said “half our fans don’t give a fuck about new music” and unfortunately he’s dead on. Count me in the half that would love new music though.
I agree with your point, but it hasn't been a decade. They released a (really good) single in 2020, an EP in 2019, and two (really good) singles in 2017.
