The All-American Rejects are an American rock band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1999. The band consists of bassist and lead vocalist, Tyson Ritter, lead guitarist, Nick Wheeler, guitarist and backing vocalist, Mike Kennerty, and drummer Chris Gaylor. Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler are the bands songwriters; Tyson is the main lyricist and Nick is the primary composer.

Move Along is still my favorite, but Kids in the Street is also a great record. I don't really like the other two.

The one between those two whose name I'm forgetting is definitely my favorite

You mean When the World Comes Down? Interesting, I don't think I've seen that opinion before. I think that's by far their worst.

I believe more people have been coming around to call that one their best, me among them

  6. I don't think I've listened to a full album since Move Along, but that and the self-titled were huge for me.

Oh wow really? It doesn't have the highs, but there's so much meh in between the good songs on their other material. That album is solid all the way through.

Do or do not, there is no try.

Hope they have something ready to go for the blink tour.

That first album rules, Move Along was fine, never dug anything past that. That said, still excited that they're on this Blink tour.

Excited for new stuff. Their last album was their most consistent and probably best yet, even though Move Along will always be my favorite for nostalgic reasons.

This is like the opposite to my opinion, haha. I think Move Along and Kids in the Street are pretty much wall to wall great but "Another Heart Calls" is my favourite song by them. "Mona Lisa" and "I Wanna" are up there too but aside from those three I hardly ever listen to anything from that album.

Last night before they went up a recorded version of their new song was playing. I didn't realize till about half way through but I liked it. They played it live too. The only thing I don't like, and I really hate it, but the chorus is "We don't give a fuck, we don't we don't give a fuck". It does have a really catchy tune though and I like the piano at the bridge

Any news about fifth album? Is it coming this autumn?

I'm all about the self titled and Move Along. Both are sooo good and IMO they dropped off like crazy with When the World. I guess it's the thing to do as a popular rock band to play more electronic pop stuff instead of rocking on guitars. I think Give You Hell making it so big changed them for the worst. DGAF sounded pretty bad when I saw them with Blink....

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt after KITS, still think it's their best album.

I've heard so much about that album but after World I never listened to it. What song should I check out to peak my interest?

  17. Love WTWCD and hate that it is generally looked upon so poorly

Definitely check it out. World is my least favorite of theirs for sure although there's a few songs on there I love. Check out "Someday's Gone" and "Heartbeat Slowing Down" I guess, the whole albums pretty varied and great though.

    Cursed by my ancestry

I always thought Move Along had the best singles, but WTWCD and KITS were more consistent albums over all. I didn't think either really moved to far into pop territory. In fact, Kids In The Street is way more "rock" than Move Along or the self-titled.

I'd even say some of their best songs are on Kids In The Street. Gonzo is awesome with its dueling bass lines. Anyone know if Matt Rubano is still touring with them?

Between WTWCD and KITS there are enough good songs to be a solid album. Forgot about "Another Heart Calls" and I loved it when it came out. It's been years since I heard most of those songs. It's so easy for this band to disappear into the background completely.

  25. Believe is really the only song on WTWCD that I'm not big on, but the b-side Sunshine totally makes up for it. Breakin is my jaaaaam
