They’re also one of the opening acts (alongside Boys Like Girls) for the Jonas Brothers’ upcoming tour, which is a pretty unexpected pairing in 2025 lol
That random 2 song LP was so good (especially the music videos that accompanied them) and had such hopes for a full length of that quality and then.... nothing. At least I thought. Had no idea about the 3 song single "Send Her To Heaven" until just now. Interesting. Excited for a new full length though, and that they're playing the Raleigh date of the JoBros tour.
I haven't listened to their last few smaller releases, but I've loved every full-length they've put out. Excited to hear what this sounds like. Bummed that the song release is a month away, though.
New song is pretty cool imo! Do they have other stuff that sounds like this? I haven’t listened to them in a long time admittedly, but the new song doesn’t really remind me of any of their big songs from back in the day.
I got Weezer vibes from a lot of Kids in the Street but not from this one. I haven’t listened in at least a decade so I could be way off but my immediate thought was Decomposer-era Matches.
I find the vocals and melody in that new song unbearable. The first line of each chorus is so off key. I genuinely can't believe this all they've managed to produce after so long.
glad I am not the only one. Mix sounds like dog shit, too. Not sitting right with me, but I’ll keep an open mind.
I liked the song, not really what I was expecting but I am definitely curious for what this album will sound like.
I was excited to have them come back but after 2 listens I think I'm good. Will await the next single...
I’ve got to imagine there are some people out there that expect them to return to their self-titled or “Move Along” sound and they’ve been consistently disappointed for like 15 years.
