Oh dang! Considering this was supposed to be visual, I was expecting them to drop songs and videos at the same time or something similar. But heck yeah! About to listen now!

Edit: After first listen, I'm digging both those tracks! Also here's the cover art because I like it.

How did I miss that. Thank you!

Edit: Omg I love the tracks even more. I am officially stoked for this album! The dance number at the end of Sweat was just perfect.

Got through the video of sweat and thought well that was a fun and outrageous video I guess although not that into the song apart from the bridge...then it went 0 to 100 holy fuck dark. I think Close Your Eyes is killer classic depressing all American rejects. I don't know the story behind this, is it tied to a new album finally?

That was interesting, to say the least. Going to need a couple more listens to decide if I like it or not. Definitely don't hate it, but I'm not sure if these songs will leave me wanting more.

"Sweat" is trying hard with that "Gives you hell" formula (quiet verses into super loud choruses) also that dubstep-ish breakdown sounds a bit outdated :/ On the other hand "Close your eyes" is a great follow up to underrated af "Kids in the streets". Love that Synthpop-The-Killers direction/sound they're goin after.. hopefully we'll get more songs like "Close your eyes" than high pitched vocal pop punk anthems.

To be fair, quiet verses into loud choruses is EXTREMELY common.

These were pretty good! I have no doubt there will be a couple I love on the record if this is the direction they're going.

If this is their new direction, I guess I'll not be checking out anything from them in the near future. Move Along is still their best album IMO

  16. This is so good and I'm very happy they're still active. This better be a lead up to a new album!

Close Your Eyes reminds me of a more chilled Heartbeat Slowing Down. I dig it.

I don't have Spotify. Switched to Apple Music. Ever since I did that I feel like bands and Spotify started teaming up for releases haha.
