It's understandable, the show certainly flailed this season, could have used more focus. I still think the show was incredibly well written, the dialogue and conversations were very enthralling, just the overall arc was lost.
Just started this and I find the dual perspectives really interesting. Gonna try and blast through the rest quickly before I cancel my Showtime subscription once Twin Peaks is over.

I’m rewatching the series with my mom who never saw season one, so I may catch up to you at some point here. I totally lost interest in season three after maybe an episode or two, but if four is good I’ll try to push through with her.
If anyone who dug Season 1 doesn't loves Season 4, I'll eat my hat! I really think the show pulled it back together. Plus they were recently renewed for a 5th and final season
I popped in because rumor has it S4 has been great and judging by the last few posts guess I gotta catch up.
The storylines have been really compelling, the writing/dialogue has been really engaging and the direction of the last few episodes NEVER would have seen that coming with Alison, fucking heartbreaking have been another level
Yeah these last two episodes have been stellar, this show was getting to the point where I was laughing at some of the ridculous writing but it has greatly improved lately imo
Just caught up yeah the last two episodes...damn. Was shocked to find out it wasn’t the series finale.
Excited but assuming this will decline in quality a bit, but they have proved me wrong before so who knows
Saw my old post in here. We never made it to season four... End of two and three were just such a drag.
From what I remember I have always enjoyed the show despite its ups and downs, but season 4 I really liked, despite thinking some of the writing in the beginning was terrible
Honestly, if you want to you basically could. I would just suggest reading a Season 3 recap if you do, there are sure to be some details that you should know for Season 4
