I can't figure out the tone / target audience of this movie, seems youth oriented but the cast appeals more to millennials

‘The Addams Family 2’ Is In The Works For Fall 2021 Release – Deadline

 

gotta have the voice actors parents & adults recognize.
like how the emotional climax of Abominable is set to a song that came out when 30-somethings were in high school/college, but ten years before its target audience was born.

 

I’m down for it

 

The first one is hilarious and one of my son's favorites so I'm looking forward to the sequel.
