Well it's definitely not post-grunge. Post-grunge is active rock but not all active rock is post-grunge. Post-grunge is Bush, Seether, Creed, Nickelback, Shinedown, Skillet. Chevelle borrows more from Helmet and Tool than any grunge band.
Does anyone have an Active Rock station in their city? We've never had a proper one THOUGH K-Rock in NYC tended to lean Active in its day.
I used to be a huge geek and looking at modern/active charts (and bemoaning the fact that my "modern" station was more Active-leaning). If anyone is interested, this site below has old Radio & Records/Billboard Airplay Monitors which are interesting to check out: https://www.worldradiohistory.com/index.htm
There's a really cool FB group that publishes some old Billboard modern rock charts, it's pretty interesting: https://www.facebook.com/groups/665767478801315/
Saw these guys today (they were opening for Saosin for some strange reason), they were not bad, lots of late 90's / early 2000's vibes. They finished their set with this song, I liked it. Half the band are from the UK.
Just wondered about them yesterday actually, it features the ex drummer from No Devotion and Lostprophets

So glad to see Adam back in the band, his husky voice is what made the band for me. Also glad they kept Matt in the fold too. Very unique and cool situation!
The new Myles Kennedy album is brilliant!! Definitely his best solo record so far!! Check it out when u's get the chance.
