Alright...Man On The Run grew on me some. Listened twice in a row.

 

Brent Smith from Shinedown posted a video ranking the band's own discography

 

Not sure why I was expecting to like it based on their latest stuff

 

Weird take IMO, sounds more like their first album, which I'm all about.

 

Another person told me it sounds like the first album, I just don't hear it. It is an improvement from their latest material for me, at least.

Actually, now that I'm listening to the full song, it's got some Deftones DNA in the chorus delivery.

For the tour it's some guy from a band I've never heard of. No idea who is going to be the permanent replacement.

 

I'm listening to that band right now, OHKAYA, and I actually wouldn't mind if he became the new singer.

I hope this means we're finally getting an album.

 

So hyped. The artwork having the same aesthetic as the last single makes me hope it’s part of a larger project.

 

Oh shit, you're right. I didn't even catch that seeing as how it's been... (checks notes)... a year and a half since "Awaken". Sounds like with a rollout like this we'll be seeing the album sometime in 2032.

 

I'm waiting for Alter Bridge to come up (Filter just finished) and they are playing Thornley. I love this.
